Today was a strange day that started in a strange way... I was really excited 'cause I was going to a Greek island and on the same time I was sad 'cause it was my mom's birthday and the it would be the first one that I wouldn't be with her since I exist... and it started in a strange way 'cause the trip to Hidra, the island, was really tiring and boring... We had to wake up at 5:30 take a train to Athens for 2 hours than have another 2-hour trip by boat to Hidra. Only 2 hours 'cause the boat was fast... by the way too fast...
But everything changed when we got there... WOW!!! It's just perfect!!! It's a small island which is home of many painters, writers and intellectuals and artists in general but it's awesome!!!
We had breakfast and lunch with great views... and it was the first time I tried lamb... didn't like very much but it wasn't so important...
We walked around the island and then had some rest to get ready for the night... The hotel we stayed is great too... small like the island (only 6 rooms) but really cosy... It's called Hotel Sofia.
At night we went to a T-shirt shop. Evi just love the song "Ja sei namorar" and we listen to it and sing it all the time on her car... so she decided to make a T-shirt with the chorus (Eu sou de ninguem, eu sou de todo mundo e todo mundo e meu tambem) for the two of us.
After that we had dinner at this amazing restaurant... The view was great, the food was great, the music was great and it was great to be with her there... We ordered a bottle of wine and had it all!!! Of course I remembered Gabi, not for the alcohol but 'cause the wine was great and I'm learning to appreciate it!
We went to another bar for a second drink and walked to the hotel... by the way it's not allowed to have cars, motos or bikes in Hidra. There are only two ways of moving around: walking or on a donkey's back :)
Yassas!!!
PS.: It's great to have my friend with me in this trip 'cause you all know what does it means to me... You're all in my heart. Thanks for the comments :)) And get ready 'cause I've got more than a thousand photos hahahaha!!!!
O.M.G.! You had to go all the way to Greece to figure out that wine is the key to life woman?
ResponderExcluirI am ready for a session here (you get to choose the wine) to see your photos, just wish you had posted a few from hidra, I am quite curious!
Love*********
Taís,
ResponderExcluirHow convenient a hotel named Sofia, han? We both love it!!!
Glad you're having such good time.
People here can't stop asking me if you're seeing anyone, if you know what I mean...
My mom only talks about your Greek God and where in the luggage you gonna bring him.
Anyway, make sure you have all the fun you can!!!
It's not time for being a nice girl!!!
All the best.
Kisses,
Chris
p.s.: It was horrible to get back to work today without you. I met Fernando and Sidney and it felt really ackward to be there without you.
