Day 2 - Friday - 17/07/09

Yassas!!!

My second day in Greece was really busy. I woke up late and went out for a bite to eat with Evi and her mom. We went to a small family restaurant with a perfect view and really nice food.

After that we went to the beach. We ussually go to the beach after 5 p.m. 'cause it's too hot to go earlier and the beaches in Kiato are made of stones not sand! We stayed there for about 2 hours just chatting and having some cold coffee, by the way, Greeks just LOVE cold coffees and they have it all the time.

Later we got home got dressed and went out again to meet some of Evi's friends and have a pizza. One of the girls, Katherina, is getting married next Sunday and they decided to go to a typical place with live music called Bouzouki to have a kind of Bachelor's party. From the left to the right: Katherina, her sister Kiki, Evi and me

It's a relly diffent place, there's a stage with a band and some singers would take turns singing their songs. The music never stops and to show that the audience is enjoying the performance the people would throw some carnations on the singers. They pay 5 Euros for a tray of carnations!!!! It's quite funny!

The guy in the photo is the club owner and he stayed with us at the table and payed for all the flowers we used.

We got home at 6a.m.!!!

Yassas!!!
